Palace to decide today if Williams can stay at Ipswich

Monday, 31 March 2014

CRYSTAL Palace manager Tony Pulis will make a decision today on whether Jonny Williams can stay on loan at Ipswich.

The Welsh international has been a huge hit at Portman Road but his initial month with the Tractor Boys is now up

Pulis' decision is set to hinge on whether Marouane Chamakh (hamstring) and Dwight Gayle (ankle) are back.

He said: "I'll speak to Mick [McCarthy]. Cham and Gayley might be fit for this weekend.

"If they weren't fit it might've been that I called Jonny back. He needs to play some football.

"I'll be looking at the situation today and then take a view today."

I love watching Jonny Williams play but I’m not sure if he fits Tony Pulis’ game plan. If he stays at Ipswich to the end of the season he will come back to Palace next season and, maybe, take the Premiership by storm.
