STEVE Parish has revealed he is looking to install a director of football at Crystal Palace.

And the Eagles supremo, above, has rubbished a newspaper report that boss Neil Warnock is set to be moved out of his current role.

Co-chairman Parish said: “If that is The Sun’s plan then good - but I’m currently talking to a prospective director of football who would work with Neil.”

And the Palace chief has admitted the new role would be bigger than the one which Iain Moody filled before he resigned as sporting director in August.

“It will be a little bit broader,” said Parish. “It will help us to be a lot more proactive rather than
reactive in what we do. Someone to work with me on everything to do with the football club.

“There is a bit of a hurry to get it done because of the January window - we want to be in good shape. We want them to be closely working with the manager on improving and defining the playing squad.
