CRYSTAL Palace won at Upton Park for the second season in succession as two goals from Glenn Murray and a Scott Dann header sealed the points.

The win in the last campaign made mathematically sure that the Eagles stayed up. And it’s hard to see how after their latest victory in east London that this side will not secure Premier League status again.

The travelling fans certainly thought so as “we are staying up” was chanted in the closing stages.

And Palace are proving to be a very good away side as they continue to accumulate big points.

Murray had an eventful afternoon. Handed a chance due to injuries to Fraizer Campbell and Yaya Sanogo, the striker grabbed a brace - although the first may be later credited to Aaron Cresswell - before being dismissed for two bookable offences.
