Kettering 1 AFC Wimbledon 2 AFC WIMBLEDON moved two points clear at the top of the Blue Square Bet Premier table as they proved too strong for Kettering on Saturday. The Dons took the lead when Sam Hatton’s low free-kick found its way past keeper Nathan Abbey. But the hosts were level when Iyesden Christie’s effort took a wicked deflection off Ed Harris and flew beyond keeper Seb Brown. The Dons, though, driven on by the excellent Sammy Moore, were not satisfied with a point. And when Christian Jolley beat two challenges and teed up Danny Kedwell after 56 minutes, the league’s top scorer made no mistake. For a full report, see Tuesday’s South London Press. |
